Because everyone knows the Oregon cohorts are better...

Wow I am exhausted. Today I have a real appreciation for people with a lot of experience as a teaching librarian. I taught back to back classes for 4 hours today--which is not that much, really. I know of colleagues at other institutions who teach upwards of 6 hours a day...eek. Of course all this instruction did span my so-called lunch hour which I am sure relates to the exhaustion...but I am just beat today. Aside from that I am still stoked with my job, ready to go to Philly in January, and in serious need of a good meal.

How's your day?

My day was pretty much the same as usual. I'm still trying to get use to the commute from Hillsboro to NoPo to SE 102 and back to Hillsboro. :-) Fun times! I'm getting a lot of knitting done on the train. Guess I'll be giving out a great deal of scarfs and hats this year for the holidays. I'm also downloading a lot of audio books to my MP3 from the Library2Go program provided by the Oregon Digital Library Consortium (library2go.lib.overdrive.com/). It's actually kinda cool.

Oh hey, thanks for reminding me about Library2Go. I think that will come in handy next quarter when I am doing the NoPo to Sylvania commute.
