I think that "In a Relationship" is a weird answer to the question "What Are You Doing Now?"
The introverted people-person of the cohort; A woman who formerly teetered between academic brain and public fun, as well as adult services/management and ys - now fully committed to the children - I've been working as a Youth Services Librarian at the Lacey branch of the Timberland Regional Library system since September 2008. Teen volunteer management (supervisory experience), teen book discussion groups (successful outcome-based programming), Toddler storytime (how silly can I be in front of parents), a heck of a lot of readers advisory work (quick, name 10 series like The Warriors - now, Diary of a Wimpy Kid - now, Junie B. Jones). It's great and I love it. It's totally where I'm supposed to be.
April 1, 2008 started a job as a full-time adult services librarian at the Shelton branch of the Timberland Regional Library system. Doing a tonne of weeding, some schedule-management, program development, and of course, lots of time on the reference desk.
Recently left a position as an "associate" at a small town public library branch, she was in charge of children's programming aka read books to preschoolers, presented databases to teachers, played board games when school was out, displayed cool stuff, and put on parties. This only took up half her time, so she also subbed at a variety of levels, including Librarian, in other buildings and in a virtual reference environment.
She has a Facebook account now, so everyone should friend her.

I'm planning to apply for the position in Lacey for a children's librarian. Can you give me any advice?
